Higgledy Piggledy, Mother Goose

Unit Set, Cast of Seven
Includes Instruction in the Use of Audience Participation

The Crooked Old Man has hijacked the Mother Goose book. Georgie Porgie, Mary Contrary and the other characters have to get back in before they turn into (gasp!) real people. The audience helps the characters remember their rhymes and a lively game of Simon Says, led by Simple Simon himself, teaches the Crooked Old Man a lesson about sharing and getting along with others.

The Pea and the Princess

In Two Versions--For Two Puppeteers or Stage (Cast of Five)

Pedegar Pea of Pod Three takes over from Hans Christian Andersen. In his telling of the story, the strange princess climbs in through a tower window, a pet dog is turned into a pretty girl and Pedegar and a bowl full of little green friends make sure that the Queen is confounded and Prince Hector gets the sleepy girl of his dreams.

Millie and the Snowman

In Two Versions--For Solo Puppeteer or Stage (Cast of Six)

Millie the mouse visits her uncle Mac in the Walkasoochi Woods right at winter pageant time. No one will let her help with preparations and Mickey Chimpmunk makes fun of her stutter, so she goes off by herself and builds a snowman. The snowman comes to life and shows Millie how to conquer her speaking problem by singing. Millie and ner new friend, a shy caterpillar, plan to enter her snowman in a contest, but the sun comes out and he starts to melt. But, the snowman tells Millie not to worry, she can make other friends and they can all build him again next winter.
